FiveM not working? What to check, in order
- 1Is it FiveM or one server?If the status above says up and other servers work, the problem is that server: restarting, updating or gone. Its page on rplist shows when it was last seen, and its Discord usually says why.
- 2Is it your install?A stuck update or a bad cache breaks joining while FiveM itself is fine. Clear the FiveM cache and restart; if GTA V updated today, FiveM may need a day to catch up.
- 3Is it FiveM?A gap in the chart or a sharp drop in players means Cfx.re's side is down. Nothing on your end fixes that; it usually comes back within the hour. Rockstar's service status is the official word.
- 4Running a server?After a FiveM update, servers on old artifacts can reject players. See which artifacts the busiest servers run.

We read the public Cfx.re server list every 10 minutes to rank servers. If the list stops answering, or the number of people playing falls far below the same time yesterday, something is wrong with FiveM itself. This is our own measurement, not Rockstar's status page, and it can't see problems that only affect your connection.
