What is RedM?

RedM is the Red Dead Redemption 2 version of FiveM: a free PC mod, made by Cfx.re (owned by Rockstar), that lets you play on community-run servers. Almost all of them are western roleplay: ranching, hunting, lawmen and outlaws.

Is RedM free, and what do I need?

RedM is free. You need Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC (Steam, Rockstar Games Launcher or Epic) and the RedM client. It doesn't work on PS5, PS4 or Xbox.

RSG, VORP or RedEM?

They're the frameworks servers are built on. RSG is the most used today, VORP is the long-running open-source one, RedEM:RP is one of the oldest. As a player they change menus and jobs, not the fun; pick by community.
